Artist's Statement:
As a video artist, I am limited in choice to either project my video works, or show them on a monitor. Due to the monitors strong association with television, the narrative and ‘entertainment’ presenting abstract video art work in a TV set (monitor) is a bit like putting a flower in a beer bottle. In D.N.R, brightly colored ceramic tiles expand the video’s pixels, and subjugate the monitor as object.
