Artist's Statement:
The artist portrays the eye as observer of object and object to be observed. In the video projection, the massive eyes long gazes are transformed with each blink. The massive eye alternately becomes harmless object and spectacle; hot pink lashes unfurl and sparkling gems appear as peacock like ornamentation, and with an unexpected rapid blink delivers an unnerving and penetrating gaze that reverses the gaze, locating the viewer as the object.
